There are only specific disease conditions." in Florences 1860 book, "Notes on Nursing", I've read that it was only in the first edition & omitted from later ones, if we go to Pg 5 we can see the correctly quoted part bracketed {thus} "Shall we begin by taking it as a general principle-that {all disease, at some period or other of its course, is more or less a reparative process, not necessarily accompanied with suffering : an effort of nature to remedy a process of poisoning or of decay,}- which has taken place weeks, months, sometimes years beforehand, unnoticed, the termination of the disease being then, while the antecedent process was going on, determined ? ........The reparative process which Nature has instituted and which we call disease has been hindered by some want of knowledge or attention, in one or in all of these things, and pain, suffering, or interruption of the whole process sets in...."

(another System, sycophant, jackass). This spurred the guy to go deeper into the rabbit hole and lo and behold, he discovered that there is no proof that HIV exists. Like all other "viruses", it has never been isolated and purified in accordance with double blind studies. Isn’t it time to apply for a Guinness record entry? As the chief prophet declared that “the science is settled”, there are two options: 1) a record number of non-existent proofs for the “settled” science as evidenced by tier 1 institutions, or 2) a record number of years of the practice of the medical science (best counted in centuries) without justifying evidence.
Seriously, all this is no longer anecdotal. It appears that absence of verifiable evidence is the standard approved method of practice. Even science fiction authors have never ventured to run fantasies that far - in sci-fi logic and realism seem to be more valued.
Illuminating angle.
I don't recall the doctor/scientist's name, but years ago, this fellow was determined to find a cure for AIDS. So he commenced to attack the problem by focusing on HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus) which all the "experts" said caused AIDS. Try as he might, he could find no verifiable, scientific link between HIV and AIDS, and he had access to every medical and laboratory data base on earth. Frustrated, he mentioned this to one of his colleagues. To his astonishment, his colleague said, "Well, everyone just knows that HIV causes AIDS so you don't need any proof." (another System, sycophant, jackass). This spurred the guy to go deeper into the rabbit hole and lo and behold, he discovered that there is no proof that HIV exists. Like all other "viruses", it has never been isolated and purified in accordance with double blind studies. AIDS is another hoax perpetrated by the monstrous criminal and satanic medical/pharmacological cartel, which world-wide generates more money than the military/armaments industry. We're talking trillions of dollars with a "T". I wonder if they can spend it in Hell. Thanks for another Haymaker, Christine. (that's slang for a knockout punch.)

very good questions. Does it rain because the Indeginous fakir dances? is someone healed because someone else prayed? Does the sun come up because I greet it? Even if someone has an upset stomach, is it because they are a can of beans? there is so much that has been told us as truth, but is it? Does one thing cause another? If the computer says something exists, does it? We might be getting sick from what is sprayed on our food, on our beans. Maybe the prayer is a lot more certain than the rest!
